After months of secretive planning, Amy & Ben’s mutual friend set them up on their first date…quite the challenge as at the time they lived in two separate towns…miles apart. Her instincts were right-on as that first date led to a romance which took us to a beautiful wedding day …Following their hearts led them to a place that makes dreams come true.
Throughout the entire wedding-day-morning, Amy’s eyes glowed as she saw each piece of the wedding “look” come together. From the boho chic floral crowns designed by Petal 2 The Metal, elegant milky cream bridesmaids dresses and vintage mink wraps – the warm earthy look that Amy & Ben envisioned was the perfect compliment to the old-world charm found all throughout the entire grounds of The Ancaster Mill.
Surrounded by the soft glow of candlelight from the masterfully designed, stone fireplace setting by Branch Design, Ben & Amy vowed their love to each other. Sweet excitement kept the momentum going all throughout the entire evening as the party moved from the sweet sanctity of The Governor’s Room (for the ceremony) to the warmth of The Falls View Room (for the reception). Loads of laughter filled the air as memories were shared of their early days together and loving toasts were made. The most memorable moment from the entire evening for us was when Ben & Amy took the dance-floor for their first dance. Amy rocked her killer heels and flowing gown by Vera Wang White like a boss and Ben’s massive grin as he watched his sweet bride spin across the dance-floor was contagious as it lit up the entire room.
What a beautiful beginning to their journey together as husband and wife. Our wish for Ben & Amy is as they years go by, they will look back at each of the sweet moments captured throughout the day and see the powerful straight of their love for each other.
