I like to think of wedding planning as if you are looking at a beautiful 500 piece jigsaw puzzle just sitting on a table just waiting to put together.  With each part that comes together you can see more and more of the vision that you dreamed of.  Today we are highlighting one of the funnest, and tastiest parts of that puzzle!  Finding THE cake is such an exciting part of planning…especially when you have the talents of Olivia and her amazing team over at I DO WEDDING CAKES on your side.

I recently popped over to their studio and captured some of the buzz that was happening at their last open house.  As soon as you walk into their doors you can’t help but smile.  With stunning creations all around surrounded by beautiful natural light, you can truly see the exquisite work that is poured into each masterpiece.  Every element that you can dream of is right there before your eyes: Hand painting, amazingly-realistic-sugar-flowers, ornate details and oh-my-goodness-adorable cake toppers.

As much as you want your friends and family to swoon over the stunning look of your special cake, how your cake tastes is just as important – it is a party after all!  Hands down, I DO WEDDING CAKES has the most delicious, moist cake you will ever taste.  In chatting with some of the couples I met at the open house, they were choosing 2 or 3 different flavors for their cake all because they couldn’t decided which they liked best….they were all amazing!
